Actually my glass is half full

They will continue to build the GMT360 for an indefinite period of time. Speculation here, but could have some minor or major changes and still have the full frame, etc. Maybe even go crazy and put the LS2 in the Envoy Denali

Per the article....The company (NYSE: GM - News) has extended the lifecycle of the five-seat SUVs produced at the plant, said GM spokesman Dan Flores.

Well, my guess would be some minor updates. I don't think GM wants to spend any money at all the the GMT-360s. Look at the Explorer. They mildly refreshed it and sales still fall. I'd really wish they redesign the interior at least. Doesn't meet how interiors are going at GM. Heck, the Aveo probably has a nicer looking interior in terms of panel gaps and feel of the interior.

I think a minor exterior refresh and a new dash would greatly improve the model.

I think you are right, just change the exterior a hair, give them all the same rear bumper and front grille (screw the 06 LT one without the full crossbars) and do some minor tweaking.

And, if on the TB GM would just make the dash not as cheap-looking. Dont get me wrong, I love the dash more than my 96 Jimmy's, but I still think there is room for improvment.

Looking at the Saab version of the gmt360 it appears a nicer dash would not be too hard to engineer. The thoughts I have read on the net about why GM is putting the gmt360 in a holding pattern is - Buyers are looking for more refined ride/handling and also want great fuel economy. They think that means a unibody type SUV that in theory should be all those things. I personally would be very happy if GM could/would tune the suspesnsion/frame for better handling/ride, and figure out a way to give the TB 20city/25-26 highway with the same power levels. Re-do the interior and I think you have a winner.

They need to put a '07 Tahoe style front end on the Trailblazer. Those new Tahoe's look so sweet.

I wish that for 2007 they would "Tahoeize" the TB. It would just be plain sweet.

The Tahoe Headlights yes but the grille? How about just the dashboard.
