The fate of GM's TrailBlazer is unclear, with the automaker dumping the ill-received long-wheelbase version (a truck that was substantially longer than the supposedly-larger Tahoe), trimming production capacity, and postponing or cancelling an upcoming redesign. The perilous financial positions of both companies means that they can ill-afford a mistake.

The midsize SUVs future is unclear but I do believe GM will discontinue either the Trailblazer OR the Envoy, because they are so close to the same.

trailblazer is supposed to be discontinued in around 2010. Consumers are moving more towards the crossovers like the murano, and equinox-type.

Yeah, I would too. Too bad there won't be any real midsized truck based SUVs anymore.

AFAIK, an Exploder tows more than a TB and has an IRS to boot.

well, i'm not really sure about GM removing either the trailblazer or envoy just because they are so close together since the sierra and the silverado fall in the same case. It is just a matter that some people like the GMC design better than the Chevy.

I know, but it is still a body on frame truck, not a unibody car.
