I see that a lot of you dislike Continental tires. I love them, they absorb the bumps, and are very quiet. I have them on my wife's 97 Honda Accord and it rides great. I love the way the Continentals ride....but I am curious as to what is better. I have had Michelins MVX on another Honda and I think they sucked. Let me know about the brands you have on your TB.

ive got hankook ventus and very happy with it, actually it is my first set of hankook and is surprised by its performance. ive had sets of goodyears, michelin and bridgestones. my personal fave would be bridgestones but would be very expensive in 22s, so hankook was a surprise option.

I've got Continental also, and I'll put them up against all the others I've had new: Michelin, Goodyear, Firestone, Bridgestone and General. I've always been a Michelin fan, but the Conti's are every bit as good. For over twenty years I was a tire dealer and I always put on Michelins as soon as I bought a vehicle. This is the first time I won't switch.

I've had BF Goodrich TKO's on my 1994 S-10 Blazer, and they were awesome in our central NY state blizzards,etc...I even thoght about putting them on my 2004 TB when my stock Conti TR's get thin, but I really don't know for sure yet,as I have noticed very even wear and fairly good longevity(I rotate every 7,500 miles)...The jury is still out as to which set I will opt for...I do know that I am not as much a performance/handling fanatic as much as I like a fairly quiet, aggressive tread pattern to get me through some serious "lake effect" stuff that comes down by the dumptruckload on my trips to my hometown dead-nuts in the center of the Adirondacks...:)

I just brought tires last weekend. I didn't never like the BF Goodrich tire that came on my Trailblazer even though I go 60,000 out of them. Part of the wear on them was my fault because I didn't take care of them like getting them rebalanced and rotated. Now that I had to buy 4 new tires out of my personal pocket I will definitely take care of them. I brought the Bridgestone Dueler APT III with Uni-T and I love the ride, feel, and look of the tires. They are more of a pure truck tire than a passenger/SUV tire they are kind of like a off road/on road tire but made for the highway also. I have mines mounted on the black side.Check them out you might like them !

I've owned several sets of Continental tires on auto's and they were fine, a good choice over the more expensive OEM Michelins. Their ContiTrac truck tires however, leave a lot to be desired. I have a set of Bridgestone Dueler Alenza's on my TB. They are a great all-season tire and pretty good light off-road tire. If you are looking for a on/off-road tire try a Bridgestone Revo or a Goodyear Wrangler SilentArmor, both outstanding tires.
