I just thought a thread should be started with tips on how to boots MPG.
Heres my tips...

1. Dont go tromping on the gas all the time!
2. No Jack-Rabbit Starts
3. Keep it in Drive for everyday dry weather driving
4. Always use cruse controll on the highway, even just for short highway trips (5 mins)

Here we can post any other tips/easy mods everyone can do to boost there MPG in these days of high gas prices :D

Here's a few more:

1. Make sure your tires are properly inflated

2. If you have the automatic HVAC control and it's cool enough to go without A/C, press the snowflake button to turn off A/C. Otherwise the system might run the compressor when it's not needed.

3. Remove the roof rack rails (the two sliding racks/bars). Or I suppose you could remove the entire roof rack itself as some have done--I've actually used it though. Even if you remove the crossbars it will help a little by cutting down wind resistance. I haven't tried this so can't comment on if they remove easily or not, or if it even helps. It probably will, but don't expect to see much of an increase. It should quiet the ride at interstate speeds though!
