going with a 265/40/22

each have a 9.5 width and 6inch lip.

can't decide between..
http://superbuytires.com/Dvinci/Vento/
or
http://superbuytires.com/Dvinci/Ragno/

Think my black ss would look awesome if i got the black inserts with it.

what u guys think?

I thought that the Vento's look a little better. They have a larger gap which will give you a better "chopping" effect. You'll be riding on windmills!!!!!!

I like something a little more simple......if you get something too wild, it takes away from the clean look of the SS. Don't you think?

There is the issue of weight too . Takes away from performance. But the chrome does look good under a black SS

Thats a nice wheel. I think less is more on this truck. Keep the lines smooth.

You saying this might make me want them even more, since you don't seem to like anything. Ever.

Because the point of having an SS is driving it (fast), I like this one. It looks like it would look good in motion as well as standing still.

Many rims look sweet on the SS, but in my eyes these will always make the SUV stand out from others. Mine are in shop right now getting the factory clear-coat stripped off than professionally polished the right way so i should be able to show you guys pics soon.

Not to sure in your area what a shop might charge, but im spending 500 for all four rims. This also includes polishing the inner portion of the wheel (caliper side).

I wasn't trying to "show" you. I had just wondered if you knew how negative you are, and apparently you do. ;)

P.S. It's called a joke. Maybe you've heard of them?

werd! I'm swapping mine out for some super light forged aluminum 15" Weld's! I'm thinking some draglites in the back...

i'd go for vento's. i am really wanting D'Vincis too. I'm liking the Blade II's but that 6 in. lip is nice. So for me it's vento vs blade II.

A great idea until you try to get those 15 inch wheels around the calipers  I don't think you'll have enough clearance :(

Yeah, I took kind of a tounge-in-cheek slant on that, I think the 16 inchers off my silverado will work though. With a 255/65 tire, that would bump the effective rear end ratio up to 4.24:1

DOG, Get whatever you feel like getting. At the end of the day, it's your vehicle and happiness. Regardless of this vehicle being built for performance, you obviously care more so about the cosmetics at the moment. Unless you are going to be punchin' it hard everyday... don't bother looking for a race/lightweight wheel. These 22's will not have that much affect on the vehicles performance at normal speeds/stop n go traffic. SO get what you want/like. And I'll see you on the darkside! Black on Black w/chrome accents still looks intimidating.

I'm going to give my 2 cents. I had 22's on my Escalade and man were they a pain in the a$$. I live in the Northeast and I couldn't keep them on all year because of the sand/salt issue in the winter. I had to have them balanced every time i put them on. They were supper heavy and my gas mileage went down. Personally I feel 22's are to big for the TB 20's fit the truck nice. But I do agree with get whatever you want. Its your truck not ours.
