Check with Norcal I think he looked into this already and found rubbing issues.

Well, it depends on the quality and consistency (as in, make-up) of the wheels. ie Forged aluminum wheels vs chrome.. HRE vs generic brand.. This is a very obvious logical no-no; there are many things wrong with the idea and all can be proven. However, I am not going to sift through them one by one. This is because a wheel of 10 inch in width will conflict with the underpinnings (sorry, I cannot recall specifically) of the car.. Meaning, it will not just "rub", but I doubt you will be able to get them on.
The specific piece I'm talking about is in a thread in which people were discussing putting on a different tire on the same rim. A BFG KDW that ran a little bit wider than usual.. A few were worried with the amount of space (or lack thereof) between the wheel and the specific part.. They were breaking things down into millimeters (3 I believe) and some were still saying too risky. That should give you an idea of how big your (initial) problem is in contrast.
I will try to edit this post when I find the link I am speaking of.
Edit: While this isn't the thread I speak of.. This might help.. Good luck.

http://en.wikipedia.org <- After this clearence problem is done.. This will help explain the others. ie.. rotational mass putting extra stress on the driveline.. (The probability of) an imperfection in a wheel which cannot be balanced out would cause a nasty little vibration which would no doubt wear everything unevenly (that is, if you order a shabby ass set of wheels that put form over function). These are all things you should take into consideration. I know, it sucks.

Before you make your decision take a look at the very top of your front strut/shock mount. With the stock TBSS rims, which I believe are 8.0" wide, you can't even get your hand in between the tire and the strut. If you add a rim that's 2" wider and a tire that's even a little taller you stand the chance of cutting your tires up the first time you turn a sharp corner.
You may consider going to a rim/tire shop and let them give the you the list of pros and cons. I've seen many Trailblazers with 22s, but I couldn't tell you the width. :m2:

Do you really even need a 10 in rim on these? I have 18 x 9.5 with a 265 width tire on my camaro and thats plenty wide for me.

265/35or40 NO RUB NO PROBLEMS that is what just about every member who has 22's on there tb is running no matter how low, bagged stock height. this would be your best bet. i have taken off ramps at over 90mph what do you want out of this thing

I'm not saying don't get them. I just remember the safety concerns from the "Potential tire blowout issue" thread http://forums.trailvoy.com/showthread.php?t=3871 :m2:

It all depends on wheel offset. The stock wheel is 20x8 +46, which equates to 5.8" of backspace. If you go to a 22x10 the offset should be such that there is no additional backspace. On a 10" wheel the maximum offset would be +20. So basically the wheel will stick out 2" further than stock. IMHO that would be too far out.

Specs on the wheels are 22 x 9.5 - 6/127 - 35mm offset with 265/40/22 Toyo Proxies ST. Fitable?
