Got a chance to peak around under the TBSS today.

GM needed to make room for you AWD guys (on the drivers side) so now it looks like it's tight as can be on the passengers side to install the headers. Sheesh, I think f-body and C5 header installs are going to feel simple in comparison after the TBSS install.

On another note, looks like they did a decent job on the y-pipe with smooth bends, etc.

GM - Thanks for looping the A/C lines all over the passengers side coils, valve cover.

So stainless works, care to comment about the install of your headers? Tips, tricks, etc?

I saw that, too... I'm wondering myself how big of a pain its going to be to get those heads off.... :(

John, do you know the size of the stock exhaust?? your pics shows some nice bends and welds. I wonder if replacing the muff will be enough instead of buying a whole system?

The best that I can do for you all, because I don't install the systems myself, is to relay what our technician told me. I was informed that cutting off as much of the old system as possible is the biggest help. The removal of the y-pipe is the most difficult part and by cutting it off you save alot of time. As far as installing the new long tubes... you simply snake them up into position hold your gasket in position with your header bolts and then begin tightening. Installing the new is far easier than removal of the OEM equipment.
