I tried to use the compressor hose today to fill up the tires with aire, amazingly I dont know how to. the fitting at the end of the gauge has air coming out of it all the time. it does not push in the are needle on the tires to fill them up. the adapters done either, what am I doing wrong?

Hose should screw on valve stem.

You should have a bunch of adapters. You can use the one that don't screw on the valve stem.

okok, you guys dont understand, NONE of the adapters NOR the screw on attachment with the gauge next to it PUSHES in the need on the tire air valve. so NO air goes in the tire.; I actually hear the compressor work hard due to the trapped air.

OR does the gauge part go to the trunk outlet and the other end goes to the tire??

ok so I was doing it right. When I tighten it on the air valve ,it doesnt push the pin in so no air goes in tire. I am going to check it again later.

thanks

is the "pin pusher" in the end missing ?

thats the problem, the push pin IS there BUT it is alll way in the casing , it doesnt stock out at all so it isnt long enough to puch pin in.

Sooo...I'm assuming it isn't a standard Schrader valve on the SS wheels?

1badss, you crack em up, thanks for the pics. that is exactly what i do . So when i tighten the hose to my wheel it doesnt let any air in the tire. All it does is trap the air (you hear compressor getting louder). Your first pic shows the little gold bar that is suppose to push in the needle of shrader valve, I obviously have that but it iant pushing needle in.

1badss. I jsut saw the video (good job), I realized you put the small gold adapter on for the tires, I didnt do this. I thought the hose was already set for the tires. I am going to try again later after work.

thanks again

Did you watch the vid? Put the adapter in the end of your hose and try it. Make sure the adapter is tight.

Actually either end will work on the compressor or the tire if they're not broken inside or something. I usually connect the gauge end to the commpressor so it isn't hanging off the valve stem since they're so fragile. I finish off with a tire gauge anyway; my dial gauge isn't that accurate.

the thing also takes forever to actually pump air in the tire, but it does just screw on the valve, took me a few minutes to figure that out too. :bonk:
