Has anyone tried to swap out their steering wheel in their Trailblazer or Envoy? I have the non-steering wheel control steering wheel and want to replace it with the same. I am thinking about buying a leather steering wheel from e-bay to replace the rubber one that came on my truck. At least I think its rubber, all I know is I hate the feel of it. If anyone has done this please let me know and if you have instructions please post them. Thanks.

Ah, so I take it you have an '05 LS? Personally I wouldn't attempt it yourself because of the airbag. If certain precautions aren't taken, and specific tools used, you could potentially pop it in your face. I would take it to a dealer or someone who deals with airbag removal/replacement regularly (body shops) to get that install done. Probably won't cost you all that much.
The steering wheels are available on eBay from time to time, or you could always get a wheelskins wrap for your existing wheel for about $50 and stitch it up. I'm thinking I will probably get a two-tone wrap for my factory leather wheel once I wear out the OEM leather eventually. :m2:
