OK, so we know the O.D of both the MAF and TB are 3.75". What I'm wondering is, for those of you with a CAI already, could you measure both the inside diameter and outside diameter of the tubing and couplers used? I'm assuming it's going to be 3.75" I.D., and 4" O.D., but there's a chance that 4" I.D. tubing may work also. Could any of you guys/gals get these measurements for me? If so, thanks, and I greatly appreciate it. :)

Sorry man, I would be happy to do it if I had an SS sitting in my driveway, which I doubt will happen anytime soon.

Why don't you ask the people that sell the CAI's, they would know and they have links all over this forum :)

my micrometer says 3.905 for the tb and 3.681 for the maf so basically 4 inch od on the tb and 3.75 on the MAF OK

4'' off the tb with 4 1/2" clamps so 4" 90 off the tb to a 4'' pipe tp the maf then after the maf you need a short piece of pipe 4 1/4" od to slide into it then the filter you might have to reduce it of find a filter that has a 4 1/4'' od I just did all the measuring for you off my stock intake this should work for you but if you play with the pipe after the maf you will need some tuning diablo, westers who ever and from what ive read if you remove the screen you can gain more air flow but thats up to you
hope this all helps

AWESOME!! Thanks! I'll be retaining my stock MAF, and I'm going to experiment with a descreened MAF, as I have a spare here at the house from a previous project, same part # and everything, and I've always had great results running de-screened MAF's. ;)
