Ok, I couldn't wait any longer and had my TRUE duals put on! They sound GREAT and look even better!!! :D :woot:

By the way, for you guys in the DFW area. If you want your TBSS done with true duals, split duals, cat back or header back, these guys are the BEST. They are very careful about the welds, placement of the pipes, etc. I HIGHLY recommend them.

Do you have them hosted at photobucket or another site, or are you trying to upload them to your gallery on TrailVoy?

I used a Magnaflow X stainless (14468), 2 1/2 in 2 1/2 out, Corsa Viper 4" tips. You can see in the pics that they cut the "Y" out just after the right side sensor. I decided not to go with resonators and I love the sound. There is a little resonance, but, no worse than my Vette or Chevelle. Their work is outstanding!

looks great, about how much would this cost?
WetDoG

The total cost was $875. It might sound a little high, but those Corsa Viper 4" tips were like $200....WTF was I thinking?

Please dont take any offense to this. it came out great and looks really nice (minus that hitch cover) but thats not a true dual exhuast. a true dual exhaust has 2 mufflers. Not like it matters, they did a very nice job. is it all SS?

Ummm, yes, it is true duals, the muffler has an X-Pipe inside with two separate pipes that connect at the "X". Two pipes muffled by one wrap. No it's not all stainless, just the muffler. All stainless would have been mega bucks.
No offense taken by the way. :D

Your exhaust is really nice. Do you feel you got a big performance gain from the change over? No comment on the hitch cover.:x

Im a boat guy too, but settled for a bowtie hitch cover instead of the prop so I dont kill my legs everytime I walk around my TB.

Actually, if there is any gain at all in performance, it would be very negligible. But, I was more interested in the sound and looks.
As a side note, I have indeed hit my legs on the prop hitch cover and I have the scars to prove it! LOL

Yep i've hit it a few times, doesn't feel too good either, although it did make a nice whirling sound rolling down the road.

Does that mean when you get a blower that makes a REAL whistling sound that you can pull it off your SS?

Hehe, you misunderstood me, I never put it on my SS. It was on my 05
4WD TB. Nice try though.

It looks like the drivers side pipe is too close to the bumper compared to the passenger side (from the photos posted) it seems lopsided or something. Did they fix that before giving it to you?

If you notice the two pics that say final trim you will see a much better fit. When they made the trim on the right side, they didn't completely cut off the bevel. They cut the left side to match the right and it was a little too small. I made the final trim on both sides and you are correct, the right side sits 1/2" lower than the left. They will make the adjustment for that, no problem.
