The annual Brockville car & truck show is coming up on the 6th of August...They normally get like at least 500 cars...Since I don't wanna drive all the way to Toronto, and you don't wanna drive to Ottawa, we could maybe meet half way...I'll probably be going with the Corvette (depends on when i have beach volleyball) and if I see that members are interested, I'd bring both vehicles and leave the show at 2:30 to make it back to Ottawa...get back to me soon enough so we can figure this out...i know glue mentionned some type of meet, and i thought this would be a good opportunity

Im 30 minutes north of Brampton, so the drive is quite a bit of a tour for me. at least 3-4 hours...:undecided

in that case id say maybe not...for me its like 1.5 maybe...im sure that theyll be bigger meets near Toronto at some point..but i dont wanna drive 4hrs for a 2 hr meet and greet

Yeah just realized to it starts at 10am, so yeah....im not waking up that early. It takes me on average 3 hours to get to kingston. lol.

We need more Ontario members, the ones we have are scattered across the province.

I guess its hard to schedule meets with the Canadians eh....

definitly hard..im rounding up members locally, cause ive seen 2 "modded" TBs but they were driving and so was I...im prepared to leave notes under wipers though:D

Not a bad idea...Im keeping my eyes open and i'll spread the news around my neck of the woods and recruit some more from the Northside!

See alot of the people I know like their full size pickups, not too many TB's around where I live unless I go into the GTA a little. I see quite a few of them around the Brampton, Mississauga, Vaughan, Markham area...

where in toronto are you? for me its like 1.5 hours to brockville, 2.0 to kingston, and 4 to t.o.....oh well...just thought id ask everyone, theyll be other chances

you are goin? nice...ill let you know by today whether my dad wants to bring both vehicles...save me a spot!...you wouldnt mind a non-SS parked with you? are you registering the SS or just the NSX/Z06...if you bring the Z06, you would stand a HUGE chance of winning the Corvette class, you be with like C5's and C6's...i got third one year with my 77 but i was against NCRS calibre 66 427's, and if the Z06 has a nice paint job, youd do well...btw you should post pics! (can you tell im excited i might not be the only TB there?)

I'll be there. the Z06 is still getting some stuff done and not quite sure all the fibreglass for the stereo will be done in time. But this in the NSX. The Z06 is 50x better then this. Absolutey jaw dropping. I don't mind you parking near me. A few of my buddies will be there with their Hummers, Vipers and M3's. Should be a good time.

im guessing your putting the SS in the truck class? or are you just leaving it outside the show? i planned on putting mine in, and if you are, that makes my decision even easier...its too bad your viper and M3 buddies cant park with you though..

i figure my dad would mainly stay with our vette, and id stay with the truck, so if you ever had to go check on the other vehicle, i could watch the truck...im still not 100% that the TB is going up too..like i said ill know in like an hour when my dad gets home..so you dont like your friends, or im guessing youre kidding..

The whole car has been airbrushed with real looking flames, The seats have all been redone in two tone leather and suede and roof liner is suede. Then a huge stereo all fibreglassed in and airbrushed. HRE forged wheels.It's quite the machine. The car eventually will be supercharged then more then likely will never be drove again. My friend treats his cars like when I was a kid with models. I don't believe in trailer queens. Maybe I'd think different if I put out a couple hundred thousand in a vehicle but to me it's kinda dumb.lol

i just found out i dont have beach volleyball that day since its the long weekend meaning i can stay for the whole show...my dad isnt to sure if he wants to take the truck since he says its nothing special for a show...and my mom isnt thrilled that id be driving on the major highway alone, even though id be 30ft from my dad...she thinks im becoming obsessed:crazy: ...im still not sure if the TB will be coming, but the car will be for sure...you guys should convince them

With gas prices being what they are, I doubt I'd drive any great distance (ie Oshawa again) to meet up with a small-ish group like last summer. Not sure if others feel the same, but 2 guys driving 4 hours to meet up with guys less than an hour away sucked.
