tb stuck in drive and neutral

So after my very lengthy nitrous intall (10 hours), hey it aint that bad considering we did it with no manual the mans way. I unhooked the battery as well durning the install. So im giddy as a lil school girl after it was done. I get ready to go fill up my tank. It shifts into reverse, then i stop at gate to my apt complex, shift into park to talk to a pal. Long story short the thing is stuck in drive and neutral. I dont know wat the hell is wrong. Could it be that my tb was unhooked from the battery so long that all my computer updates were deleted. I had the recall on the shifter thing back in 03, before it was even a recall. So im at a loss of words. Now i had to take all the nitrous installation off so i can go to the dealership tomorrow to try to get it fixed. :cry:

ps. when i was under my tb tracing back the fuel lines, i noticed a connector to something loose. It was near the engine/tranny.

sucks big goat hoohaas. Anyone know wat could be wrong.

I wouldn't be surprised if it is something electronic. Just about everything on the vehicle is electronic these days. Can you take a picture of the loose connector? One of the gearheads on this forum might be able to identify it.
