yo guys,

I was wondering what to order when asking for axle seals. My front tires a squeeking a whole lot and it's really irritating me. I've read a few posts about this problem and I really think the problem is dry axle seals. One problem: went to Checkers the other day and asked for replacement axle seals, and they said they have a lot of different ones. So I told them that it was my front tires and still they told me which one; I didn't know what to tell them. This is where I am now. Please help me and tell me which part to order and also how to change this damn SEAL!!!! Mahalo.

What year, make, and model of vehicle do you own? Folks can help you if they have this little bit of information.

PS: Where I am the only Checkers is a hamburger joint with a drive through on both sides of the building and I don't think they sell axle seals.

Same here! :D

For the original poster: I guess we can assume you have 4WD? In any event.... rockauto.com has an excellent parts system that you can use to lookup parts. They also have outstanding prices and good shipping rates. GMPartsDirect.com has good prices but they stick it to you on the shipping. Either of them provide a decent parts lookup. :m2:
