Does anyone else have a tick show up after you turn the A/C on? Mine starts to tick if the engine has been running a while then I turn the A/C on or if the A/C is on and I stop for a little bit without shutting her down. Any help is appreciated....cuz its rather annoying:(

The ticking noise is because the callibration on your fan clutch is off. you can get it recallibrated, but if the barons are bad you will have to replace. Talk to the dealership, they will recallibrate it for like $45.

Since your TB is an 03 the ticking is a fan clutch going bad. I am afraid a computer flash might not help. Try this. With engine running and hood up, if you hear the ticking noise, unplug the fan clutch. The plug is located on the upper right hand side of the shroud as you are looking at the engine. If the ticking stops, the clutch is bad. How long before it completely fails is anybody's guess, but you will know it when it does since the clutch locks the fan at the same speed as the water pump pulley and you will hear a loud whoosh as the rpms increase. Also, good luck getting any kind of flash for $45 in NC. It is usually one hour of labor at about $75-$80.
