I just bought my SS a few days ago.. today I just passed the 200mile mark.. I noticed that front part of the passenger seat (the smooth leather) is all hard and feels lumpy.. complete difference from the texture of the drivers seat. It also has a slight discoloration, but not too noticable, just looks a little faded.. I didnt really notice it when i bought the car, but I didnt really look. I know this hasnt happened since I have owned the car. Is this kind of stuff covered under warranty? I am going to take it in to the dealer but I'm just trying to find out what I shoudl expect from them..
thanks ;)

alright so I just took it to the service dept at the dealer..the guy pretty much told me there is nothing that I can do and that it must "have come from a different animal because it's a different texture".. that's BS! they rubbed some conditioner on it and sent me on my way.. they told me I could call Chevy customer service if i wanted, I figure I'll do that and see what they say..
any advise?

I'd be surprised if you got satisfaction at this point. Your negotiating power dropped 10 fold the second you drove it off the lot. Good luck though - the squeeky wheel...well, you know

Call Chevy Customer Service. If no satisfaction, write customer service a letter. They hate letters, and have to act on them.
Be sure to write down the name of everyone you talk to, the time and date and outline of the conversation.

On my 2005 GTO my leather started wearing excessively. I had the entire seat cover replaced under warranty.
