First off I want to say that I am outrageously impressed with the sound of this "Full System" from Stainless works. The fitment was really good, the hardest part of the header install was getting the old stuff out of the way. We didn't follow the guide, we went about it our own way. It took about 4 hours with a solid hour of BS'ing if not more. The LT's went in without lifting the engine, hardest part wast getting the cross threaded factory o2's out.
We had to cut up some new o2's and test them to make sure everything was good. I will need to adjust the tip placement a bit because it seems the headers pushed the tip loction back an inch or so, but that is from installing the headers and catback at two seperate times. Adjustments could have been made, but I had the muffler shop weld all the connecting pipes when they put on the catback.
You guy should have seen every head in the place turn when they started the car the first time. Literally everyone there walked over saying "I can't believe that is coming from the trailblazer". It was a jaw dropper. The video clip is attached and posted all over the various forums. I figure it would get the most attention here.
I want to thank Al & Rick over at Stainless Works for all their time on the phone and over email. I really appreciate your support. You guys built a great system that is going to get a lot of attention. I am going to be laughing as the friendly law enforcement representatives of Texas try to look around me to see what they hell is making all the noise. Throwing a few revs at the guys at the get together tonight is going to be a kick in the ass.
Thanks again Stainless Works.....You Guys Rock!
