I don't know about you guys, but I think GM put the heated seat switch in a terrible place. I frequently find the heater turned on, it's killing me on these 90+ degree days. I try to pay attention to the LEDs to make sure I haven't hit the button, but I still find it turned on at the worse possible moment (like when I'm going somewhere that I shouldn't be sweaty at  ).

Is there a harness under the seat that I could disconnect until Winter rolls around?

You're right about the lousy switch position. All my passengers keep turning their seat on. I always have to look to make sure the little lights are off. Maybe we could pull the fuse for the seats till winter?

Install an inline switch in the harness for the seat that feeds the heater element. I am not sure what wires it is, but by place a toggle switch in line that is under the seat, it would make a much cleaner mod. :m2:

Most things connecting to the seat have harnesses so you could remove the seat without having to cut wires. Unplugging that harness would be optimal, this way there is no cutting or splicing for switches.

The fuse idea is best tho, IMO. But that will only work if the heated seats have their own circuit.
