2006 Calipers/Wheels

A wheel store tells me the 2006's need a different wheel backspace
due to larger brake calipers. Anyone heard of this?

That's BS. The wheels that came on my 2006 were the same ones used on previous years. I even replaced them with some 02-04 5-spokes because I liked that style better and they fit just fine.

Hmmm.. now I thought I had heard the 2006's had different/larger brake calipers? Maybe they still stuff into <2006 rims.

The brakes are different from I believe 04 on up but the LWB models have larger front brakes than the SWB.
