My truck has about 100000km and I am planning on taking her to the dealer soon for service... but I was wondering Is it time to change to more efficient oil, tranny fluid, filters, etc?

100 000 kilometer = 62,137 mile

Quaker State has oil for 75,000 mile + engines.

im at 87000 and im still running regular 5-30

Im up to about 145000km now. Only big thing I really did a few thousand ago was a transmission service (replace filters, gaskets) and full tranny flush (flush all oil out of tranny, lines and torque converter).

Along with my other regular maintenance that I did at the same time (oil change, air filter, plugs / coils...)

I did it all at around 125000km...I think the service manual says the plugs are good for 133000km.

Been using quaker state 4x4 synthetic since about 40000km. I have'nt switched to the high mileage one yet though.

There might be a few other items listed in the service manual that I failed to mention. Can't remember.

Remember the Transfer Case and front and rear differentials. Check your manual for service intervals but these are esential services and need to be done fairly soon.

Thanks Guys.... I was wondering, did anybody had any problems with the transmission?? I was out of the country by the time this happened my Tb was still young (LOL) and somehow the tranny died... truck was in my dad's hands by the time this went down, dealer replaced it under warranty..

In your area where it is hot all the time you should have a tranny cooler to supplement the factory radiator cooler. Heat kills trannys. Do a search for threads about transmission coolers. Well worth the reading.
