$399 seems like alot of money for that, but I guess you pay for the R&D.

Purchased direct from Manufacturer - 2 week delay, $300 cdn, and another $200 for install at GM shop. At speeds over 100mph they help big time - but that is just my opinion.

Ouch. Any lube with that $500 purchase?
Seems like for that price a brake upgrade or even a DIY style ducting would work. I know it's not quite a good comparo but my Home Depot brake ducts on my Camaro worked geat and cost me less than $20. They don't look too shabby either IIDSSM.

$200 for an install that you could easily (really easily) do at home in the garage/driveway is CRAZYYY!! Sorry man, they better give you a complete 15K checkup with that.

This brake duct kit does it make the brake dust worse on the rims or does it help prevent some of it? Looking for the benefits of brake cooling without excess brake dust showing up.

$399.99....Does GMPP think they are the American 'AMG' all the sudden? GMpartsdirect.com price was $360 when I just checked....I will run this by my dealer and see if I can get cost+10% or something. Nice to do after the foglight TSB is taken care of.

man you could build your own for like $20 at home depot. That's what most race cars have on them anyways. Total rip. Whoever payed $200 to have them installed got rippppped!

If you just gotta have these parts, all I have to say is become good buddies with your friendly GM parts counter guy. They have saved me tons of cash on factory parts.
Problem with stuff like this is the mold tool cost is amortized into the parts and so they cost a fortune, probably not even $5 worth of plastic there but there is a $30k tool sitting around somewhere collecting dust and some absurd operating income percentage the aftermarket wants to make. Ford does the same nonsense with Mustang parts and wonders why they can't connect with the aftermarket...huh, I can't imagine.
