i need an adapter to mount up some brembo calipers i have laying in my garage. they are the calipers from a gcsrt8. what else would i need? any help would be great. thanks in adavnce..

Sorry I am not familiar with the SRT8 brakes vs. SS brakes.
I have made many different brakes fit different vehicles. I no longer work for that business but here are soem things I can remember.

Normally when changing brake calipers from one vehicle to another you will have many factors to consider...

-the outer diameter of the brake disc.
-the thickness of the brake disc.
-the pad swept area of the brake disc.
-the brake line fittings.
-the mounting position of the caliper.

If the calipers will match up to the rotors then you will only need to machine a block of aluminum for a bracket and get some custom brake lines made.
If the calipers match everything except the swept area of the rotor you can always adjust the pads by grinding them for a custom fit.

I would just buy the Brembo kit and not worry about the headache and problems of replacement parts with a homemade kit.

thanks for the response and good info. the thing about this kit is that i have the calipers already and was just hoping to buy new rotors and other essentials needed.
