Who's had an experience with the California water blade? I'm not talking about the imitation ones from Wally World...I mean the real California water blade.

I personally love it. If it's used right, it's a very good tool to use for drying your vehicle.

I've tried it on another vehicle. They are definitely a time saver.

Wanna know what is even better ...Taking my neighbor's grass blower and letting it rip. Dries your car like a champ! J/k The blade is a great tool when trying to avoid water spots.

I like mine. Been using one for 5 years. Never had a problem with it. Usually get most of the water off and finish it off with a waffle weave microfiber. Works for me and its quick :D .

I might have to give the "real" California Blade a try. I got the cheap knock-off at Wal-Mart and it didn't work for crap.

They are great for getting the water off of flat surfaces (roof, hood, windows, doors) but its not great at getting intoall the crevices and such.

i am going to have to get ahold of a 'real' one, i have had the walmart one in my hand a few times and put it back. sounds like it will fix the water spot problems i have been having on my hood....and it sure beats claying the hood each time

They are great and work fine but make sure there is no dirt on the edge of the blade. When i first used one i had a small peice of dirt on the edge and it scratched the clear coat on my front drivers door :duh: . I wipe off the edge after every swipe. Im not going to do that again.
