Site Update!!

I am currently working on the news page today. Hopefully by the time I get it uploaded , the news won't be too out of date. :)

If any one would like to have their truck featured on the Home page, please email me pics and your mods if any.

The Featured link will be our members custom mods to their trucks that they would like to share with the other members / enthusiast.

Resources & Gallery links will soon follow. This is a BRAND NEW site and I would like to welcome everyone to our new community!

About the logo...I made a quick logo for the index, what does everyone think? I am not really a graphic guy, I think it sucks. :) If anyone is good in adobe or whatever they use, please make us a logo. Otherwise we have to look at that ugly thing I made. :)

I was hoping to have all the of news area finished 2 days ago, but a hard drive crash on a brand new dell system cause a delay. I had most of the site backed up and html documents I was working on saved on a USB stick.

All the of the news area will be finished by Sat. 9-18. since I am leaving soon for Pittsburgh PA to go see Jerry Seinfeld Thursday night. A long 5 1/2 drive west to Pitts.

I have gotten many emails from members who want to make a new logo for the site. I like to keep the same idea with the logo I made on the index with the two trucks (tb & envoy) meshed together. I think it looks cool, so send over the samples along those lines.

Hello everyone. I have finished the news area today. The news will be updated when a new story comes off the automotive industry news wire (a pay service) regarding GM, TB's or Envoys etc. Other news & information will also be posted in the news area when acquired from other reliable sources.

TBE Central does not create the news, we just report it. We always give credit to the source, writer and photographer. We never take credit for information that is not ours. Our goal is to put all GM, TB & Envoy news in one convenient place for our member to access.

In the near future, TBE Central plans to setup a network with participating members across the States, and other areas, to cover certain events. On occasion, we will have our own articles following such events.

After getting side tracked a little, I will begin finishing the "features" area next week when I get back from Baltimore, MD.

After that will be the resources page and then onto the members gallery.

Just a little more time and all the areas will be completed. Also, I want to say thanks for all the emails I received from members to have their truck featured on the site. I have received about a dozen emails, so please keep them coming. (send to mytruck@tbecentral)

I just put up a few images on the gallery page. I hate leaving pages blank, so this is just temporary. I am still working on the gallery software/database. I may just use a freeware php program for it. I have seen some that look pretty cool.

My goal is to keep things simple. I do not want to clutter up the site with link after link, page and page. The heart of the site will be the forums and marketplace. I am always open to suggestions, so if you have any please tell!

I hope you had fun in Maryland. The crabs are great down there, I was also there in July.

Are you an Eagles fan being from Philly? I was born in Mt Holly and have been out of that area for a couple decades due to my federal job. Utah is the closest I've lived near Philly since around 1982.

Not really an Eagles fan. I mean i do watch them, but I am a true Hockey fan at heart, NHL, AHL, International Leagues Etc.

I had a great time in MD. I stayed at the Marriot water front Hotel and I recommend it to anyone. A real top notch place. Food was great too!

I love to watch the Flyers, at least I did. Hope they don't screw up the whole year. I love going to minor league games. You don't have to break into a bank just to buy tickets.
