Hey guys I guess I need to ask how do i post a pic of my SS? I I just registered on photobucket but I need to learn how to navigate this site better. But I am extremely happy with my new 07 SS. It's black with te black leather interior. I have almost 2000 miles on it because the day I picked it up I took of with my girlfriend to fla. Put almost 700 miles on it . Only problem was a terrible wind nise right at my ear level on the drivers door. Annoying as he*%, But took it right in when i got back and the replaced the window channel rubber, I also had then fix the crap leaking from around the license tag frame. Thing runs great but I have big plans for mods on mine such as blower once I can be convinced the trans wil hold up as I'm pretty sure it won't but want to have a game plan for the trans as well. I already put a set of 20' driv moonshine wheels wraped in toyo proxes tires. I opted for the chrome wheels over the black ones . Only other thing was i put red caliper covers over the ugly stock calipers and really like the simplicity of the install. adds alot to the look. Somebody please help me post somes pics of it! Love this site and look forward to being a steady contibuor to the site. I own a graphics and screen printing company and would love to design and print some greatlooking shirts for everyonr here! I specialize in racing designs!

i just had some shirts made of my SS and my buddy's EVO9 and i could not beleive the detail that screenprinting does. the guy who does it had put it into a screenprinting contest in Vegas. Its cool to wear it and people ask who car's they or where i got them from.

Welcome aboard. :D
This is a great site and you will learn a lot about your SS, I have. Its a great truck and has lots of potential on both on a performance level and visually, not that it's not already awesome in stock form. Looks like you already have the mod sickness.
Start to read the treads about the various "must have" mods such as tunes and CAIs. Plenty more.
Enjoy

Log on photobucket and if you haven't already load a pic onto the photobucket site by clicking the browse button. Once you load the photo and you can see it simply copy everything in the url space that is located right under the pic you just loaded. Now come to trailvoy and once in a proper thread click the reply button. Once the reply window is opened locate the insert image button which is the 2nd button from the right (has mountains on it). Now simply paste the url of your pic and thats it. Hope this helps.

No, he probably painted the calipers red like other guys have.
Very nice ride man!!
If you want to see the stock SS rims and tires, let me know. Im looking for a set. Would rather have a set of rims only with Toyo Proxies S/T tires as they are awesome, but the stock SS tires arent too shabby. PM me if interested.

Thanks ! I know, Iknow ! I tied to just use black vinyl from my brothers sign shop yesterday to cover up the hideous gold bowties, But just was'nt what wanted. What do you think about the billet bowties do they make one for it and do they have one for the back?

I used caliper covers from Tuner 1 They are available in several colors including carbon fiber, yellow, black etc. for almost application and I like the look of them over just painting the stock calipers I did'nt even have to remove the wheels to install them. I thought they were were a little pricey at $189.00 for the set. I was going to go with the black rims in the same wheel but thought the chrome looked better after stressing over the choice. Thanks!

Cool, I didnt even know they made caliper covers! Did you have to go to the place and have them take measurements or did they get you a set of Vette covers and they fit?

No,when ordering these you simply tell them what they are going on and they hook you up. Just realized that the company is called Tuner 01 not just tuner 1 as I stated previously .
