I am about to install my Trickflow Heads, Cam, Headers, Intake, Pulley, Catback and I want to see what you guys are laying down on the dyno. I am hoping for around 430-450RWHP buy who knows.

Id be willing to bet SS4Knat from Trailblazer SS is up there. I used to work at the shop he had work done at www.azpowerandsound.com and this combo would net 420+rwhp in auto ls2 gtos.

mines 404/400 with headers, a small turbo cam, ADM intake, electric fans, and a tune. With a really good set of heads it would probably be around 440-450.

i hit 355/370 with a super small cam and headers and a very conservative tune w/ stock cat-back and stock induction etc. i will be re-dynoing/tuning with the k & n and a 3" catback and perhaps some e-fans this winter ( blasted harvest sucks away all of my time :( ). i would like to hit in the 380/395 area.

We are getting ready to pull out the motor in ours, "the wifes" and Put in a 450~ Cubic inch monster.. :) Not sure on numbers, it should be pretty cool though.... Cam is 648 lift, 246 duration, Heads are custom AFR 225s, Block/sleeves where done at Lingenfelter. The motor has been done for a while, just needed to have some time cleared out so i can put it into the truck. Not sure on the intake yet.. Ill figure that out when it gets to that day.. Ill put pix up when i get it done.. RWHP should be 650ish easy on a calm tune.

What tranny are you going to have behind all that motor?

That is an outrageously large motor. Prepare to have tons of problems. if it is truely the "wifes" car you won't have a really happy wife when you're done

Just cause its big doesnt mean probs!! you can get 500ci out of a lS2 and with the new warhawk block it is endless with how much power you want to run. we finally have some good aftermaket components to make some big numbers :D And for you 2wd SS's you can run many trannys us AWD can build the 70 or got to a 4L80e with some fab work but i think in 2wd a 70 built right could manage in the 6-700 rwhp.

You sound a little bitter. If he thinks he can do it, let him. I'm pullin' for him, and wanna see the results.

Power is what she asked for.. :) Big cubes should help the drivability factor. She loves to drive all our cars, I have a 1113 hp 99 camaro f2r procharger 408 with 28lbs of boost., A 2005 and 2006 Ctsv, the 2005 has a 427 in it with magnuson supercharger and lots of other cool fun sports Cars. The wife is always in charge.. lol If they ask for something, you just gotta let em have it.. The Trailblazer is my favorite thing to drive. I dont know why.. It just is.. Ill take pics of the motor right now.

I wish I could remember the clever way that someone referenced the MTI 455. It was something like a cross between a caroseen lamp and something else...because they burn as much oil as they leak. Not that I wish you any ill luck. If you go with the new block I am sure you will have a ton of success. Resleeving and having super thin cylinder walls doesn't make for a great daily driver for the wife. Maybe I misunderstood and it isn't a daily driver.

A c5r block was used, And the thing wont leak. They did the sleaves in my 427 and it is perfect. If it does, ohh well. At least the wife got what she wanted..
Sorry, missed the Trans question. That is something too that i am not sure on. Probably ill get Rossler to Upgrade it but leave a calm shift pattern. Torque converter will just be a yank 2800 i have one here for it already. A couple changes on the lockup and it is nice.

So the most on a stock shortblock is about 400 and 400 everybody else is just speculation.
And the guy putting the big motor in his wifes truck well I need to start selling software you are just making to much money:D
I am hoping to have/hold this record here shortly but I know it will not last long.

Yea, well Jesse tunes trucks and cars for a living, so he can do that and still play at the same time, lucky man.
I want to see the results when you get it done Jesse, should be a beast! I wonder how the new 4L60E super=beefed (aka 4L70E) handles that much power...:undecided:
