Not what you are thinking. I was on the interstate quite a bit over the weekend, and along with my extremely annoying door rattle on the passenger side, everyone riding with me noticed something I can't figure out. Basically it sounds like one of the windows is just slightly open even though all of them are definitely closed. It sounds like it is the rear passenger door that isn't sealing, and at highway speed you can hear and feel the air coming in. This is a new one for me. Any thoughts? It drove us crazy for the 5 hours we were in the car!

I don't have a SS but my left rear door does not seal completely and does the exact same thing, it also rattles when I go over bumps. I have yet to find a recall or TSB for it and forgot to tell them to check it out last time I was at the dealer.

So basically, I feel your pain about the wind noise! http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l288/merenjay/no.gif

This seems to be a problem with the newer TB/EN. They replaced my door seal but it didn't help. So then they turned the door in slightly and it worked but not 100%. I know what noise you are talking about. I know my Denali was silent on our big 2000 mile trip to California early in July but it was howling like crazy on our trip to Wyoming a few weeks ago.

Since the repair it has been a little quieter but I'm still disappointed since it is a $30k + car.

Like Westbayou said it sounds like the window is open slightly. Mine is the left rear window and I can hear it over the radio or even if the sunroof is open.

The wind noise is almost unbearable on these trucks.....like many have said, its like a brick trying to cut through the air...very true...

I had a similar problem on my 06 SS. It turned out to be that the driver side window didn't go up 100%. The weatherstriping got pinched and left a gap where I was getting wind noise, but it appeared to be shut. All it took was bending it straight and its been fine ever since.

my 03 tb had alot of wind noise and i tried everything to fix it and it did not really work. the SS is much quieter than the 03 was. there is still some noise but not as bad as the old one. make sure the door is closing tight and windows go all the way up and no weatherstripping is not being pinched

My 2007 SS does the same thing, at highway speeds it sounds like a window is cracked open or something, I'm taking it back to the dealer to have it looked at, the noise drives me crazy!!

Let us know what you find out. I spend some time looking at the weatherstripping yesterday and haven't found anything yet. I get the flying brick thing, but air is actually coming into the cab of the vehicle.

My 07' TBSS had a terrible noise that seemed to be ear level on the drivers side door. I took it back to the dealer and they replaced the entire window seal , not the door seal Even after that they had to tweak the window itself to get a proper seal around the window, seemed like it was the very upper right corner (from the outside) that was the problem, But what a huge difference it made once it was fixed!

I have the same problem on the drivers window. I can tap the window button down and the noise quits, but you have to do it quickly are the auto down will work. I will take it back sooner or later but this works for me now.
