:undecided 06 TBSS AWD,with a yank 3000 tc, kn drop in and a tune and dyno, 325hp, best I could get was 14.005 at 96.7mph. temp outside was 78.
Question does this sound right? I can of expected 13.50's at 100mph or so.
Also any try out vector's Heat Sensor Relocation Kit? Damm they are always sold out!

How are you launching? Are you turning off traction control & stabilitrak? What was your 60 foot?

With the TC you should definately run in the 13's. I have the HSRK and it works great!

To get a good time in that temp. you'll need about an hour to cool everything down. I found I went 2 tenths slower between the temp gauge(factory) reading about 160 and reading about 210. Ice down the MAF as soon as you get there. What was the temp gauge showing?

 HorsePower sales in pompano beach, fla put it on the dyno and had a guy who flies in on Fridays due the tune, went with them because they also installed the converter, Iced down the Mass air for about 30min but saw no change in MPH or times, it was allowed to cool about 35mon between runs?

I would agree with you. I want to get to 13.50's as well without the Yank. With G-tech I ran 14.1's stock and 13.6's with some bolt ons at similar ambient temps as you. Going to the track tomorrow night for "official" numbers.

I am not brave enough to do a TC so will keep throwing money at it until I hit the 13.5 mark.

I am starting to get loaded up for Electronics. Bought the G-tech, a DashHawk and just got HPtuners. If you are able to do so, the HPtuners datalogging is invaluable and you can post your results for help. Nice to know what you are pulling for timing, KR, etc.

Good luck, I am sure you will get there but gonna take a little playing.

High pressure and downright cold tomorrow night, I bet you fly.

:undecided Could my problem be heatsoak?

Ya know, I really dont know for sure. No one is going to argue that heatsoak is an issue.

I have ran mine on the G-Tech several times and a couple tenths is about all I vary in different weather conditions +/- 25 degrees. Not going to say it cant be more, thats just all I have seen.

I just assumed that a Yank on a stock tune would get you to less than 14 flat on its own.

Post the details from your timeslip. Your 60' etc.

Here is my stock vs. first time out with my ADM mods.

Thanks for your help, 60 times 1.97, my real question is the 96.7 mph, With a dyno hp of 325 hp. I just feel vehicle should have pulled a little harder, or maybe I need a better tuner to handle setting up the transmission to work better with the TC, your thoughts?

Did the tuning include modifications to the TCM? Are your shifts modified? Removal of some/all torque management? That may be key to making the TC work harder.

Well nice 60' time. There is your Yank showing its stuff.

Keep in mind, I am going to preface this with an I dont know what the Heck I am doing disclaimer.

But there is a LOT going on and a LOT of potential in these trucks engines AND transmissions.

You really need help from someone like ADM or Vector. I chose ADM but think both are good.

I just read that ADM put the CAI, larger MAF, tune and underdrive on sale for cheap. Dont remember how much but you can check it out in the supporting vendor forum. Make sure you tell them you are running a yank.

It appears you are falling off. It takes off like a rocket but is not pulling through. Even my stock MPH was higher than yours.

Wish I could be more help but as I said, there is lots of potential that a good tuner can get to for ya.
