Just curious if anyone here has been creative and hacked up their sway links? I've seen a few jeeper sites that have successfully done this and am not finding many other options available for the TB.

Alternatively, would anyone who has replaced their links w/ aftermarket links be willing to donate them for a good cause / science experiment? I'm tempted to find a welder, some extra round stock and some hitch pins and give this a shot. :D

Hey Roadie, think stinkyfab would be up to the challenge? :undecided

Hey Roadie, think stinkyfab would be up to the challenge? :undecidedI needed him for the rock sliders, but my shop at work has a smaller welder, metal lathe, and stuff that can handle this project. You find some links to practice on, then we'll both buy Moogs and go to work. Alternatively, take a bad one in to your local 4 Wheel Parts store and see if they have anything in stock for another vehicle that might be adaptable. The staff at the one near me in San Marcos have been very helpful. You need to make friends with a 4WP store anyway soon to get your kit of recovery equipment.

Very cool :D

I was planning to stop by a local 4by place on my way home, I'll also inquire about any short links (though handing them something would be ideal).

So, calling all you that have replaced your OEM links... Any chance I could borrow a pair (or all of em) of your originals? I'll even pay for shipping
