I just recently change my brake pads all around. but it seems that when all the work i'ved done, it feels the same as it was before i change them. I bleed the breaks all around and the hand break seems to be in the same height. shouldn't the break be a lot stronger? also the hand break be a little lower when you pull it? need help......

unless your pads were really shot, i don't know that you'd necessarily feel an improvement. and as far as the parking brake goes, unless you changed the brake shoe inside the rear rotors, you shouldn't notice any difference.

you can adjust them to be tighter as shown here:

If you replace like for like, unless there was degradation to begin with you won't feel any difference. My fronts were warped so I replaced all 4 rotors with R1 Concepts slotted/drilled rotors and Morse ceramic pads. Big improvement in stopping power and fading. Pads don't compress as much and grip better so the brake pedal doesn't feel mushy. Now if only the stainless steel brake lines would become available.....

Did you need new pads? did you buy a more agressive pad or not? Also, you are supposed to replace the rotors when you do the pads, at the very least the rotors should be turned when pads are replaced.

Was there a problem with the brakes before you changed the pads or was this just routine maintenance?
