MrPGAPro 10-19-2006, 08:43 PM Just got my 06 TBSS in black-gonna put rims on it. Just wondering what size?? for ride and looks. I was thinkin 20" Black rims with a chrome lip. I saw these on Ebay in black for $800 20" x 8.5".

Thanks!!!!
bgj76 10-19-2006, 08:48 PM I would go with 22 but if you do go with 20 atleast get 9 or 9.5 with the right offset they will look good I like those wheels

:iagree: Why replace a factory size rim with the same size, especially such good looking factory rims? I say 22's for sure, or a big honkin lip on some chrome 20's
MrPGAPro 10-20-2006, 08:36 AM I just think Black rims w/ a chrome lip on a black TBSS look SWEET!! I had gunmetal rims on my Blue WRX and they looked good-also ALOT easier to keep clean!
I just think 22"'s might look a little too "Pimpin"-IMO.
bgj76 10-20-2006, 02:40 PM Do what you want there are a few members wit black 22 and it looks sick IMO but if you want 20 go for it and when you do get em 20s or 22s make sure you post pic
dntnvme 10-20-2006, 04:14 PM I have black and chrome (machined Lips) on my TV, and I think 20's would look to small in my opinion. I have 22's with no problems what so ever. The reason I say they would look small is because dark colors tend to make thing appear smaller. Light colors tend to make things appear larger  Hope this helps :D
blktbon20s 10-20-2006, 04:31 PM Get 20s for the front and 22s for the back.

You may as well put a boat anchor on each wheel, those are heavy... Remember, we are trying to get more performance out of the SS (most of us) and do so by weight reduction and/or engine mods. Just my :m2:. I guess its really up to the owner and what he/she wants.

Always liked the stock wheels but wanted chrome and a little more depth.
bbradyc5 10-23-2006, 12:48 PM What's your rim width & offset on those? They look very good. I would like to see a picture straight from behind the rear quarter panel to show wheel face to fender lip relationship. It would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ben
TrailblazerSS 10-23-2006, 04:43 PM The rims are 20x9 with +30mm offset.
