But just to make sure you said the electric cutout didnt do anything by make noise correct?

With it being tuned cutout open vs closed didn't make any difference in #'s on the dyno. I haven't done any recent track testing, but when I was stock with just the cutout I did gain some at the track.(do a search on my name and you can find my old post in the strip section about it)
Even with no gains, I still LOVE my cutout, the looks on peoples faces when I open it is priceless. :D
