So, I walked into a Chevy dealership on Sunday (10/29/06) just planning on test driving the new Trailblazer Super Sport. Two hours later, I was signing the paperwork for my new 2007 T.B.S.S. It's silver and kicks @$$! I actually traded in my 2002 Mustang Roush stage II. I guess I'm getting older--wanting an automatic tranny, four doors, and cargo space--but I didn't want to give up the power. The T.B.S.S. was my compromise: an S.U.V. with the power to beat a lot of cars up out there. I'm the newest convert.

Getting rid of my 04 covert vette today for a 07 blue TBSS with AWD,leather and Navi.

Have to pick it up in a few hours, a bit sad the vette is going but was down to it as my only car and was not going to drive it in the winter here in Michigan =).

Heading for a Vector tune probably early next week.

Congrats on your purchase. I was in the same boat as you, sold my Mach 1 to get the TBSS. You would be suprised how many former Mustang guys have done the same. The SS is hard to beat for an all around vehicle.

Getting older?! I better get my AARP membership approved cause I'm still in my twenties and I've owned more 4 doors and automatics than anything else :D .

Hope you enjoy your new toy.

Congrats on the new SS!!

Now, since you are a gear head and already have the mod bug, get either:

1) tune, cai, headers, exhaust, efans, u/d pulley, lowering kit

or

2) Magnacharger/STS turbo kit, efans, lowering kit.

Welcome to both of you.... And the VMS Tune will really wake up your SS! (BTW, the SS handles GREAT in the snow here in MI)

Congrats! I was just thinking the other day that the TBSS was the right choice when I picked up a new (above the range), microwave oven from Home Depot and had the means to take it home with me (had an '05 GTO previously). Can't beat the TBSS for the utility!
