I found this site and eventually pcm4less while searching around after the dealer gave me an 850.00 qoute to replace my bad pcm. I called Kelly at pcm4less and she sent me a new pcm. I have to say i'm shocked at the performance increase (oh, and it cured my low engine power light too). My "fun car" is a 95mustang with a built 306 and blower. I've never really beleived chips or tuners did much good except when your car was heavily modded as is my mustang, i saw huge gains from tuning on the Dyno with it, but mail order, NO Way.
Until I got this in the mail. I'm very pleased, and if Alvin or Kelly sees this, great job pcm4less. Thank you!!! :D

Thanks so much Scott!! I told you that you'd be better off getting our tuned PCM than just a boring regular one :D

No kidding, $850 for a new PCM + crap stock settings OR $150 for a PCM + PCM4Less tune.
Lemme think about that one. Not, its a definate no brainer in my book.

So ive read about it on here a million times, but what are some of the factual bonuses of a tuned PCM?
*is it true that the I6 engine doesnt reach full open throttle until 3000RPM?
*will a tune give me better gas mileage, and have people actually reported an increase in mpg?
These are just a few questions I have.

Not that I want to discourage your questions, but we have discussed tunes in great depth many times. Do a search for "tunes" and you will get dozens of threads, and you will get a HUGE variety of opinions and experiences. Read up on that, then ask what ever that info doesn't answer.

i had no idea a performance tune even existed for these vehicles. I was just looking to save some money over what the dealer wanted. i worked for a dealership for ten years selling cars, so i knew the mark up, but it killed me that from the 850, 230 was install. hahahahahaha. Glad i found this site and pcm4less.No kidding, $850 for a new PCM + crap stock settings OR $150 for a PCM + PCM4Less tune.
