Since a full synthetic is a requirement on these motors, i'd also watch like a hawk and make sure that they fill it with Mobil 1.

I purchased my oil at Mobil 1 at Walmart, had the dealer supply the filter and I had it changed for under $20. The oil was properly disposed of and I didn't get my hands dirty...Save time and didn't harm the enviroment.

I used Mobil 1, bought it from Sams Club for $27.00 (5w-30). Changed oil filter to 2006 K&N. Don't forget to fill the oil filter up will some oil before you install it vertically.

Your SS uses Mobil 1. I brought mine to a local Mobil station where they put Mobil 1 in. I was standing right there, but I actually never saw the M1 container. I don't know if my dealer will change oil and filter that I supply.
I will call them and ask. I have a K&N 2006 in the garage.
