My TB every since i have owned it a whole 2 months now, has taken about a good 2-3 hard secconds to kick over. is this right? it just seems that it is to long, almost to the point where it does not want to start. battery has been tested and is good.

Mine cranks right away. Can't imagine there would be a difference like that between the TB/EV. I'd get it looked at. Strange that its been doing it for months and you haven't been stranded as of yet?
get ur alternator checked :undecided

As I understand your description, the starter turns the engine fine, but the engine doesn't start running until a couple of seconds of constant cranking. If it's cranking it won't be the starter or the alternator. More likely a fuel pump or fuel delivery problem. No fuel, no run. Try turning the key to "run" for a couple of seconds first to let the fuel pump build pressure, then crank it. You normally shouldn't have to do that, but it can indicate if you have a weak fuel pump or fuel pump circuit related problem. My 3¢.

i agree with Tblazed, its probably the fuel pump

i let it sit for a second with it in the run position and she started right up. so fuel pump? is theres in the tank so the tank has to be drooped i know with my park ave it was.

That definitely sounds like a fuel quanity problem since the gas pump is operating when you let it sit in the run position. It could be something as stupid as a relay or something. It sounds like the fuel pump is operating as advertised along with the starting/charging system.

Yes fuel pump is mounted in the tank. Could also be a clogged fuel filter causing a restriction and slow pressure buildup when first started.
