Would the 22" 07 Escalade wheels fit our SS's (I just like the style)? If so would it be easy to get a new centercap?

Well, they wouldnt fit directly you would need bolt adapters. Then they would fit.

Is using bolt adapters safe? Doesn't sound like a good idea to me.

I have heard they can be risky but some people say they arent.

For just cruising around town I wouldn't worry much about them but not for the way I drive this truck :)

I had the same idea. I build the Escalade in Arlington and seeing those rims all day long makes me want a set, but not for $2,250!!! I was told the same thing that there not the same 6 lug as our SSs'

Thats correct, the fullsize trucks use a 6x5.5 bolt pattern whereas all GMT360/370/305s use a 6x5 (6x127mm) bolt pattern. It is proprietary to the GMT360, no other stock wheels fit without adapters.
