I'm looking for mods to do to my 5.3L. Looking for cat back exhaust kits, or possibly even a custom turbo + intercooler setup if there's a company willing to build one. Any one know of such a setup?

After reading other forum threads, I would be real cautious of a STS turbo.

STS has been successful on 5.3's but mainly on Silvy's...
Magnacharger would be a useful too for towing due to TQ but not much of a mod as far as drag racing stuff is concerned.
A good cam and heads would be your best bet...

I'm still new to the trailvoy modding market. Can you recommend any sites to get a set of cams or you think just port and polish what i got and then reprogram? or what about boring the motor out?

As people said, the STS owner is jerking around a TB SS owner he used to prototype their TB SS kit after they blew the engine up...
Im pretty sure the Magnacharger kit for the TB SS works on the 5.3L V8 too. You could get the same results from a good heads and cam combo too.
