aparently when you hook up your trailer your supposed to put the switch to the N for about 10 seconds then back to forwheel drive, its in the manual on what "exactly" to do.

i mean if you are towing a trailblazer, say with a towtruck. what is the right way to tow them?

i see what yer saying, back wheels down and in neutral is the the way i would. as long as 4wheel drive is not engaged. if 4wheel is engaged have them put the wheels on dollys

All of the towing companies around here tell you when you call them, if it is a 4wd vehicle it automatically goes on a flatbed. Apparently too many trannies have been destroyed by towing them wrong.

According to our manual, 2wd cannot be safely towed dingy style. There is a whole procedure for shifting a 4wd into N in order to dinghy tow it. 2wd can only safely be towed with the rear wheels off the ground.
