I have a 2002 Envoy that had the old style headlight switch. I saw one of the new style switches(03/04 to 07) on eBay so I bought it and it works perfect as far as I can tell.
My question is that the new switch has a circle with a line through it on the left side. What is this suppose to do?
I noticed that the new one had one more contact so I am not sure if I am missing out on something.
Can you guys help me out?
On newer models, that icon to the left is to turn off your DRL's, at least on my 05. :yes:

i think that button is to turn off the dome lights

I have the same switch on my 02 and thought it was factory. however if you open the door then push the button once your dome lights go out and will never come on again anytime you open a door unless you push it again. PLUS if you push the same button 3 TIMES(quickly) it will shut off youe DRL's AND if you do it at night you can shut off your AUTO light and control them manually!!

i have that new switch that you got on my tb. It is to turn the DRL's off. When you do that a lil orange light will come on.

When my headlight switch is off, the auto lights will come on when it is dark. If I turn the switch to the left at night, it kills all the exterior lights. Below my headlight switch is a button to kill the interior lights when a door is opened. I thought that was a funny feature until I had to haul some 2X4's after dark with the lift gate glass open and noticed that the interior lights would not go out until I hit that button. Looks like GM was thinking when they came up with that one. I wonder if it was after a complaint or before the truck was released? BTW I have an 05 TB.
