Hello everyone!
I just joined trailvoy and recently purchased a Midnight Blue 2004 TB EXT 6 CYL with 19,000 miles. I love driving but sometimes, when ths AC is on, I hear a noise from the passenger side vents like air being relased. Is this common on anyone elses? Thanks

Let me start by saying welcome. I also have a 2004 EXT, but I haven't had any HVAC issues. Maybe someone else can help you with that one. Though I might get the fan clutch fixed under warranty just to be safe. That's been a pretty big issue with these trucks...

19,000 miles and if you bought it from a dealer then you probably should have some type of warranty...but if not read this it might or may not help at all... This is what I think....Well if you are not familiar with the AC .... it could be that the vent option is on.. when the surrounding (outside) air is warm the AC will recycle the cooler air from inside and cool it therefore it produces a higher air sound kind of like when you go to the automatic car wash and your car gets dried automatically....check the button that is to the left (I believe it has 3 wavy lines) of the snowflake button (AC Button)...if the light is on then it is on (the AC is using the cooler air from inside) turn it off... once again this may or may not help ... ( The AC will do it automatically (reuse the air) if the surrounding temp is high like in the 90's plus) this is from personal experience...regardless of the vent option being on...
