OurZoo 11-26-2006, 03:19 AM Whaddup boys and girls? I've been away for a bit. Just a lot going on. New job, will be ripping out and redoing all floors in the house next couple of weeks, refinancing the house, found out for sure we are having a little girl in April, and last but not least, picked up this sweet piece of machinery on Tuesday evening. This is technicaly my wifes. I'm sooo glad she wanted this car. I will romp on it probably 3 times a week. That was the deal.............
Drove her off the lot with 4 miles on her. We just go back from San Diego with 495. Had to bathe her while down there and took some pics too...

chunn7 11-26-2006, 10:30 AM Congrats on the baby and the car! :)
OurZoo 11-26-2006, 10:46 AM We went with the SRT8 so there was not much needed to be done. Well, you know how that goes. I have a few mods I'd like to do, go figure :D :
To begin-Intake, Zoomers Exhaust, Tint, Leather Armrest and center console, and fully chrome the stock 20s. I'm not going to do anything electronic to the inside as she is fully loaded with the Kicker sound system, nav, etc. However, 1-it's technically the wifes ride so she's already been shutting me down on suggestions 2- and most importantly we have the baby coming sooooo you all know how that goes. I'll take some interior pics soon. She really drives like a dream solid, fast, responsive, etc. Let's just say the drives to and from San Diego were awesome and thankfully uneventful with the police as I was a bit skewed from the speed limit to say the least. We purchased an engine kill device from the dealer and I plan on tinting her within the next week. BTW, nice charger bgj76

Nice choice on the car... how much?
She has everything on her offered except the rear DVD package. Sticker was about 44K. Dealer went down to 41K. After tax, license, extended warranty, gap, and engine kill, 45K.
sluggs559 11-27-2006, 01:29 AM congrats thats a bad ass whip your wife has good taste

Blulytes 11-27-2006, 11:31 AM Congrats! Awesome stuff.... Girls are the best...
Nice ride too! :D
tbyrne 11-27-2006, 09:14 PM Very nice! Try to get it away from the wife as much as possible. All that torque probably isn't good for a pregnant woman so you should do all of the driving!
I have a 300C SRT-8. Awesome cars! Alot of people don't realize that the SRT-8s run low 13s (and some in the high 12s) stock. Plus you can see waht the other side of 170 MPH.

Thought you are selling the car:confused:
OurZoo 11-28-2006, 12:12 AM She doesn't want to get the lights tinted. I do! :worried: Anyways, luckily the wife doesn't drive quite like myself. Quite the contrary. Although today she drove the XUV for the very first time. I was slightly freakin out while I was at work though. :undecided  Thanks for all the warm wishes on the baby!
ScarabEpic22 11-28-2006, 01:08 AM Long time no see Drew!
Congrats on the baby and the new ride.
I really am not a fan of the regular ones, but the SRT-8s somehow appeal to me and yours in black is downright sexy! :drool
StvsDenaliXL 11-29-2006, 12:21 PM Glad to see you back Drew, and congrats on the little girl (after our last meet with my daughter you know what's to come:D ), and congrats on the new ride, it's sweeeet. Hopefully the wife will get her new car soon, still trying to decide, but the wifey has expensive taste, she either wants a Merc, Beemer, or Saab, I'm trying to lean her to the Saab, I just like them better and more affordable than the other 2 and you still have the luxury option.
