Are you sure it's the brakes and not a suspension bushing.

yeah, im sure. you can push the clip of the pad while the truck is sittin and get it to squeak..had to the dealer twice. first time they said it was the gas tank strap, second time it was the e-brake cable..never heard a cable squeak?lol. all serious it may be the reason i get rid of the truck. whats the word with the bushings? are they known to squeak? thanks.

my truck does the same thing!!! go under the truck and push up on the gas tank 3/4 of the way back. it seems like the pickup or something inside the tank is hitting the bottom of the tank. i have dropped the tank already it s not the straps I squeazed the tank and still made the noise. took it to the dealer and they said it was my aftermarket parts(exhaust, rear shocks) that could be causing the noise but if they listened to me o told them to push on the tank, but after it being in the shop for almost 2 weeks duo to some tranny problems i wanted my truck back!!!!! it is going back to the dealer again and i will try to get it fixxed 1 more time!! anyway try pushing up on it and see what you find!!!!!!!!1

It Squeaks.. Combo That With The Squeak From The Clip On The Back Of The Pad Makes Window Down Driving Embarrasing...im Just A Little Frustrated I Know All Cars And Trucks Have There Issuse, Stuff Coming Loose And Rattaling But Never So Early In The Vehicles Life. I Got 10500 Miles On It . Think Im Going To Try Another Dealer See Where It Takes Me. In The Mean Time Ill Fall Asleep Everynight With Only One Thought In My Head "squeak"
