:) Well I live in Northern Ohio, and we have some rather cold winters. During the last couple of weeks I have noticed that one of my tires leaks air during the night. Every morning I am forced to drive by the air machine to give it enough to safely travel the entire day. I have checked for for a punture, and I am unable to locate anything. The tire only leaks in temps. below freezing. Is there anyone else on this forum experiencing problems? If so what can the dealer do to fix this? Possible tire on rim adjustment? Thanks for all your input.

Mine does the same thing. Its fine all day outside and its fine in the garage, but if I leave it outside over night my one tire is almost always low, and last night it was almost flat.

The same thing happened with my ss. One day I went outside to take my ss out of the garage and take it for a ride. Well, the tire pressure warning light came on and it said that my PSI was like 28, 29. As I started to drive off (I know it's not good to drive with low air in the tires, but I was only going down the road) I was driving at a fairly high speed, and I noticed that as the tires got warmed up and hotter as I drove, the PSI number got higher to like 30, 31...But the next day it did the same exact thing so I just took it to the dealer, they put air in it, reset my tire pressures, and now it's fine.

My left front lost several pounds each day of the last two or three days. I could not spot any damage. Always check with my hand held gage as to not rely totally on the sensors.
Scratch that the thing was so low I decided to swap out to my snow tires. Even with the wheel off, I cant see any damage to the tire.

Usually when dramatic temperature changes occur it affects the rubber o-ring on the valve that's in the valve stem. Put a little spit/water on it and see if it's leaking.

Thank you all for your insight! I think that I will be taking it into the dealer this afternoon. My truck sits under a car port outside everynight, and waking up with a flat in the morning before work is just a complete pain in the rear. I will let you all know what the dealer tells me.

Mine is at the dealer today for the exact same problem. They are replacing the right front valve stem. Only took 3 trips to the dealer for them to fix this.

Surprise...mines doing it too. Left rear looses pressure all the time. Nothing wrong with the tire as far as I can tell. I'm going to check that seal and probably bring it in soon regardless. :)

I just recieved the call to pick the truck up, and it was in fact the valve stem as some of you from the previous page had said. Thanks for the help.:D

What psi should the tires have?

What psi should the tires have?
I run 32PSI, and 30PSI in the cold when I first get it rolling.

My tires lose air too. It's a pain in the ^$$. I need to go to the dealer and have my right tailight cover replaced because that leaks as well. I have all kinds of moisture in there. So they can fix the tire problem while it's there....

I bumped mine up to 38 psi so the low pressure warning would stop coming on when it's freezing cold. I took it to the dealer to have the oil changed (synthetic) and the damn dealer let air out of my tires to 32 and sure enough, the low pressure warning came on again. I had to put them back up to 38.

The warning should come on below 26psi. At least that's when the do on my truck. I try to keep the air around 32-33psi in the cold because the always heat up to 35psi.
