i've been having the same problem others here have had on their dic where the tire pressure ,usually in one wheel is slowly going down in the cold. i used a deep socket and gently tightened the lock nut holding the valve on. i rotated it 90 degrees to the right(gently) i have no more problems with that tire or sensor, hope it helps:D

Thanks. I will try that tonight. It is only the left rear that is having this issue.

The same thing happened to me with my rightside rear, took it to a tire dealer and he told me he had to tighten the nut on the valve stem, he told me to double check all stems at least once a month !!!!!!!!!

I just got mine back from the dealer this morning. They only had it overnight, but I was losing air from the LF tire, but only when it was below 30*F or so. They found nothing wrong at first and filled all the tires to 36 PSI but told me to come back if it kept up. Two days later, it was at 23 and the rest were at 32-33. Turned out to be a small tear in the TPM (Tire Pressure Monitor) seal, according to the work order. We'll see if its fixed now as I'm sure it will be going below 30 again real soon.

Had an '07 LS for the night and couldn't help but notice how much better the new rear wiper works than the older ones. Think that might be a mod in the near future, after the remote start.

:iagree:

Mine is headed to the dealer tomorrow morning for an oil change (I have 2 years free and change my synthetic every 5K), need a new taillight because of the moisture that keeps getting in, and to have them fix the TPM's in my tires. Only my right front has been giving me problems but last night, the rear left tire started reading 20 psi, then it jumped back up to 36, then back and forth a couple more times! I will have them check all the valve stems. Some guys have had their stems replaced and its fixed the problem.

Mine wasn't the actual TPM, it was the seal around it. My tire was definitely losing air. Actually got down to 17 PSI one night at work. That was the first day I took it in.

I had the same problem and it drove me nuts... if it was warm out I had no problem but as soon as it got cold it would leak VERY slowly. I must have looked the tire over a hundred times looking for a nail and I even changed the valve core. I finally took it to a tire shop my buddy works at and after 30 minutes we saw the small bubbles coming from around the stem, a quick turn of a socket and it was fixed. This was a VERY ANNOYING problem andI am glad it is fixed now.

ya it looks like the stems are the issue and how they seal, hopefully no more leaky tires:D

found my problem at the dealer today.....a roofing nail in my front tire:mad:  The guys repairing the roof on the apartment building next door are going to hear about this. I only drive 3 blocks to work so the chances that it came from that roof are pretty high I'd say!

Thank You! I was really dreading taking it to the dealer for this problem at this time of year when we're all so busy. I'll give it a try ASAP :)

Mine had a cracked valve stem as well on the Right Front. Got it changed out and they all hold their air in the hot or cold.

We have had the same problem since we had the dealer rotate the tires. I will try and tighten the valve stem.
Good post, thanks!

I just had my snow tires intalled at the dealer today (no charge).

All TPMS readings are ok except for the right rear, which is reading 25PSI LOW TIRE PRESSURE and the annyoing yellow light is on. I need to check with a hand gauge to be sure, but the tire doesn't look low at all...any thoughts, was it not reprogrammed properly maybe? When I first picked the truck up all was fine, it was reading lower like 28PSI compared to the others at 32PSI, I didnt' think anything of it till I got in my truck about an hour ago and it was reading low...

there's a thread on here on how to reprogram the sensors, somewhere?
