No wires visable from driver or passenger seats. Looks really good, and its easy to see the data. It tilts with the wheel just fine and its easy to remove. I can still see my odometer/dic readout as well, with no problems.

I considered that location, but it blocked my view of my DIC... :o

i can see my DIC :x :o just fine. Maybe its the way my seat is positioned or that I'm 6'3", but I can see it easily.

That looks good. I'm thinking about getting a scangauge II. I had the original scangauge in my old Titan. I did a custom install so I couldn't take it out when I traded it.

Be forewarned the Scangauge doesnt support ANY GM extended data such as knock or other important PID's needed to accurately monitor your vehicle. Plus it isnt updateable for new features or support such as TCM parameters ABS codes ect ;) I was looking at those before we entered the DashHawk program, for the old J1850 stuff it's pretty good.
On another note, Todd nice install :D

I'm 5 inches shorter than you, plus I like my seat height all the way down and the steering wheel height real low too... not knocking your install either man, if that's how I sounded, but I just couldn't resist the DIC joke... :worried:
Here's where I stuck mine: ;)

Thanks, but yeah, been thinking of doing another cheapie mod for the tranny temps too but I've lost the initiative for the time being... :(
I don't get GM, the TBSS got stuck with the clutch fan for towing duty, but then they skimped on the tranny cooler...

Just based on what I've read on here, I think Chris is saying the Dashhawk will have tranny temp capability eventually too.
I've currently got an Autometer trans temp gauge in there now too, but when I get the Dashhawk, I plan on removing the gauge and putting the DH there (if it does trans temp). Or at least that's the plan for now.
