Would anyone who has looked at or installed wood dash kits for their tbs give brand suggestions. I have an 05 with tan leather but the dash is black. Any color suggestions? Links and pics would be nice. Thanks guys.

I have been shopping around for something too, i would suggest ebay. there are a few people selling with good feedback and the mostly offer samples if you ask. Stylin Concepts and other accessery sits offer a few kits also.

I have been looking aswell. but make sure you get a molded dash, instead of a flat dash, personally the flat dash looks cheesy, and dosn't couver some parts on the dash. Me i am going with a cherry wood dash when i can cough up the :m2: .

I have purchased several dash kits from an ebay seller called "goodtrim"

They have 2 TB dashs up now.
Ebay Flat Wood Dash Link (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CHEVY-TRAILBLAZER-02-03-WOOD-DASH-TRIM-KIT_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33705QQitemZ8001473 177)

Ebay Molded Dash (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/02-UP-CHEVROLET-TRAILBLAZER-3D-MOLDED-WOOD-DASH-KIT-W-W_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33705QQitemZ800219593 3)

The flat dashes, which mean that they lay on top of our current ones.
The Molded are nicer as they curve with the pieces.

I have been very pleased with their quality, however I HAVE NOT INSTALLED THEM ON A TRAILBLAZER.

I have used them on a Tahoe, Jetta, Cadillac CTS & SRX.

Thanks blulytes. Thats good to know that theyre realiable cuz i have never used ebay before. I would probably go with molded becaus why spend upwards of $200 if its gonna look cheezy. But with the molded do you have to remove dash pieces? Thanks. :)

I just took a chance and bought a molded kit on Ebay.

Turned out to be DeeZee brand. I've been on http://www.deezee.com researching for more info :duh: . They are not very imformative. I can't even find my kit on their site.

***edit***
Here is a link. It a pdf file, schemetics of my dash kit. Not the easiest site to find what I am searching for...finally got this. http://www.deezee.com/images/Daskkit_schematics/26-1015.pdf
***edit end*** :)

I just posted some pics of my dash. I have yet to get a good shot of the whole dash.

The kit came with moded front dash, and four side door hand cover. Looks very nice and am happy with it.

Installation for DeeZee kit was simple.

I used rubbing alcohol to clean out all the shinny armor stuff on the surface till it looked dull. The kit came with a primer that I spread all over the dash. The hardest part of the installation was positioning and pulling off all the 3M tape backing. I would suggest pulling the dash cover out to position and bolt it back on if you know how and if it's easier for you.

As for the door knob covers, I pulled each one out with my bare hands, no tools, to position and stick the new wood cover on. Everything fitted nicely.

Anything would look better than the stock dash. It was just too plain. I shopped for months and found the molded kit a steal on Ebay listings at less than $120 shipped. Unfortunately it was the last kit being sold for the TB. The seller greencamaro (http://motors.search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZgreencamaro7) has other nices kits of other makes/models at great prices.

 ***Update****
Contrary to what was stated on the auction I bidded for, the seller is now offering another of the same dash kit on Ebay. Here... I see some of the molded kits with the door handle area couvered and some with the window switches couvered. Odd?

How did you get that little Trailblazer circle out. Did you just pry it out with a screwdriver?

Just finished the first part of my dash mod this morning. I took the dash apart and painted the dash piece around the speedo cluster and also removed and painted the front of the glove box. I still have to paint around the center and passenger vents, but I can't have my truck out of commission for too long at a time. The colors aren't terribly different, I just wanted to add some contrast to my slightly boring interior.

Sorry the lighting is bad. It looks like 2 different colors in person, I swear.

I have a black TB and I was going to buy and install the black cherry molded dash kit. I was also thinking about getting the black cherry steering wheel as well.

I want to get a molded kit soon, but at the same time I want it to match the Denali shifter with the wood insert. They need to be pretty close in color, as I dont want it to be noticeable that the kit is aftermarket. Anyone know what style to get of kit to get it matched?
