Well I'm in the process of chopping my exhaust system off and getting a muffler to sit underneath the truck for more rear clearance.. Since I have some custom made headers, I know that by keeping just the one straight through magnaflow muffler on will make my car sound like it's on steroids (with LOTS of resonance), which is not what I want.
From doing some research I've figured the best mufflers for a nice WOT sound and quiet cruise sound are the chambered turbo mufflers. So in all, do you guys offer yours as single mufflers, can you post up your average CFM and also can you please list a price..
Thanks,
Bader

turbo mufflers typically dont flow the greatest, but they do have a quiet note to them. i have personally used the gibson turbos, summit turbos and dynomax turbos. the summit turbo muffler still resonated in the vehicle :(
honestly, i would say go for the dynomax super turbo. it will be louder than the louvered gibson, but it will flow better. the louvered gibson (huge louvers) flowed like sh*t, but sounded great.
there are plenty of other turbo style mufflers. its really an old school design with plenty of brands. thrush, summit, dynomax, gibson, SW, flopro to name a few. really IMO, you wont go wrong as long as you get one without huge LOUVERS to create turbalance and restrict your flow.
good luck!

I custom made them.. around $600 with install.. I did have to leave my trailblazer in the garage over the weekend though and they did do two prototypes...
After wroking with 1.75" primaries made from stainless steel, found out they were too large as i lost ALOT of performance.. 2nd one's were made down to 1.5" primaries, the only good thing I got from them was reduced engine temperature..I didn't feel any more performance gains...
If stainless steel sticks to their word as said on this post:

I think the same size primaries as stock just honed and longer would do a great deal extra for the trailblazer..
plus if clifford performance does come out with a cam, a bit of a p&p job on our heads and some 1.5" should do fine..

well knowing the work in the states comapred to kuwait, they would probably actually dyno test the headers and make sure they were worth ur money instead of creating them without testing them... worth a shot to be honest, if they did have a good set going, im sure plenty of ppl would be after them from here...

Cheers, i just saw ur msg, i think we posted at the same time previously... well i used a dynomax turb muffler and it was great.. the problem is the only shop that sold them here in Kuwait shut down, so i'm stuck with borla/magnaflow straight through mufflers or the inet...
I'd rather go with the inet and get something worth the cash.. they charge at least $110 for a tiiiiny magnaflow muffler that costs around $60 in the states and borla is at least double then what they charge over your end
Inflation is a bitch!
