Hello all. I am fairly new to the community. I have an 02 Bravada that has 55k miles. I have already had many problems with the AWD, ie stuck in 4WD, but now the AWD won't engage. No service lights, no indications of trouble. But an hour of diggin out of the snow where a 4WD vehicle would have no problems tells me it didn't engage.

My question is can I make the t-case selectable, like a TB or Envoy? Not looking for 4-Lo, just 2-Hi and 4-Hi. Or is the t-case in the Bravada different than a TB?

I no longer trust the Smarttrac, and would rather engage/disengage the front wheels when I think its appropriate.

If you had a way to frankenstien the electronics to the transfer case, you *might* be able to force the T-case full on or full off (4x4 or 2wd mode). This would give you constant MIL lights on the dash unless you had a way to disable them as well. Bottom line? There is no documented or easy way to do this.

Does the Bravada have the same t-case as the TB? Would it be as easy as installing a 4wd selector switch from a TB?

Nope, different transfer case encoder motor (pretty sure) and different front diff (positive).

No way to do it has been documented, so try at your own risk.
