I searched for an hour before posting. Please don’t stone me if this has already been answered in detail! :)

What, if any, are the differences in the catback (factory or otherwise) used on the SS and what challenges are presented installing this on I6 SWB trucks? All I’ve been able to come up with is the flange might be larger, which is a pretty simple thing to overcome. Are all of the hangers the same?

Any SS owners in Central Ohio want to donate their factory catback in the interest of science?

Thanks in advance.

I was wondering the same thing. I think the single outlet has a much better look then the dual. I went to a local dealer and looked under the SS. Everything looked like it would be in similar, or close to same locations. The only difference that I found was where the exhaust bolted up to the cat (SS vs. I6). I asked around also and found the same answer as you.. the flange difference.
I put that area of modifications on hold for right now though. Looking to work on the appearance of my TB (suspension, wheels) first.
Let us know if you come up with anything. Very interested in the results!

I put a post in the SS section. Hopefully, one of the local SS guys will have a stock catback I can play with. :)
